YNS Partying on with the May Release

The party continues over on the Your Next Stamp blog today.   All the new goodies from the May release are available in the YNS store and we have a second giveaway for YOU along with a challenge for the Design Team.   Head on over to the YNS blog and leave a comment on the DT post to win a stamp set of your choice!!!

While you have the chance to win, the DT was put to work and challenged to use gumdrops and stitching on a creation featuring new products!

I took a shortcut and pulled out the new Treat Topper Die set, which comes with faux stitching on it.   That darling little bunny from Woodland Cuties is back to say thank you.  A few gumdrops and ta da, challenge met!

Head on over to the Your Next Stamp blog  to see the rest of the design team's creations and for your chance to win!

Your Next Stamp May New Release Blog Hop

So did you check out the sneak peeks of Your Next Stamp's May New Release yesterday? Well, the wait is over and today is the day, everything is available in the store right now.

The YNS team and some special guests are hosting a blog hop.  We are all sharing more projects showcasing all the new stamps and dies and there is a prize for one lucky person who leaves comments on the blogs - it could be you!   You are going to want to hop, hop, hop, because the more blogs you visit and leave a comment on, the greater the odds are that you may be the random winner of a $20 YNS Gift Certificate.  You have until May 12th at 12 midnight (EST) to leave a comment and be entered to win.   Check out the full blog list at the very bottom of this post.

Now on to my creations...I have a bunny and a cow to share with you!

Up first is a set that has quickly turned in to one of my faves.   Woodland Cuties is full of, you guessed it, cute woodland creatures!   My card featuring the rabbit and a sentiment from the set is based on YNS' #13 Sketch Challenge (playing along with the challenges is another way you can win a gift certificate to the YNS store!)

YNS Ingredients:   Woodland Cuties stamp set and coordinating dies, Banner/Fishtail Dies Set One, and tag from the Winter Fun Tag Die Set.

Next, I have a card featuring stamps from the new set Baking Buddies.  This set is designed for creating labels for food, but I decided to show how versatile it is and use the stamps on a card.
YNS Ingredients:  Baking Buddies Stamp Set and coordinating dies.
As part of the new release celebration, Karen is offering a discount in the YNS Store.   Now is your chance to grab some of the new sets or the ones that have been on your wish list.

Thanks for stopping by and have fun hopping!   Just follow the list below.

Bunnies are the Bestest

Eeeks - just realized I never shared this one with you!    One of the pitfalls of starting posts in advance is that you may just forget to go back and hit publish!!!

This card features Your Next Stamp's Bunny on the River and was based on YNS Sketch Challenge #12.   The Stitched Rectangle Dies and Stitched Circle dies were also used.

Tomorrow, I will be back with a card based on sketch #13 and just an FYI...there will be new stamps and dies arriving in the YNS this weekend!

Julie

Your Next Stamp is offering another chance to win a free set.

It is April Feature day which means Thanh is once again challenging us (errr torturing us).   This time around the challenge is to create a non-A2 standard card.   Well, I went with a topper card and although it will fit in a standard envelope it is not the standard shape.

Partying On With YNS

Today the party continues at Your Next Stamp!  We are celebrating the April release and today is the DT Dare.

The DT may have to create something for the Dare, but all you need to do is leave a comment on the YNS blog for your chance to win a stamp set of your choice.   Be sure to head on over there for your chance to win.

So what is the DT Dare this month?  We were dared by Thanh to create a feminine card.  The first thing I did was pull out some floral patterned paper and ribbon, then I combined it with the new Stitched Rectangle Dies and Waddles.
